A unique concept of Zululand Expo is that it is part of the Zululand Chamber of Business Foundation , which  is an NGO. All profits made from the event are re-ploughed into the various community projects on the  community park.

The committee is made up of a very special group of volunteers from all walks of life from within the Zululand community. It is managed by a full time manager and assistant.
